The Palmako Heidi 70mm Log Cabin, measuring 23×10 (6.9x3m), showcases a divided internal layout consisting of a 17.3m2 chamber and a 5.5m2 space that offers versatile utility, ideal for a visitor’s space, a garden workspace, or any mix of additional year-long living quarters. Crafted from intertwining 70mm Northern spruce logs with a chalet-style finish, this log cabin features a design that allows for a tighter interlocking structure, enhancing its resistance against wind and rain. With a substantial log thickness of 70mm, this construction provides great insulation for improved year-round usability.
For added stability, the cabin includes threaded bars for wind safeguarding, while the traditional corner notch assembly adds a touch of appeal. Both the floor and roof are built using 19mm tongue and groove construction, renowned for its durability, strength, and weatherproof properties. The floor is bolstered by pressure-treated floor beams, ensuring a robust and enduring framework that will endure many seasons of use.
The roof extends outwards, shielding the front of the cabin and creating an additional covered area for relaxation. Complementing the contemporary design influence of this garden building, the pent roof enhances its visual impact. Equipped with fully glazed double doors framed with laminated material, and a key-operated lock, the entrance ensures security. A stainless steel door threshold guards the highly-trafficked entryway. Surrounding the double doors are two generous windows, with an additional high window illuminating the smaller room of this 23×10 log cabin.
All doors and windows are double-glazed with authentic glass and feature rubber seals to eliminate drafts and enhance insulation. Supplied untreated with a five-year warranty, it is recommended to apply an anti-fungal treatment during assembly and annually thereafter to maintain the guarantee. Alternatively, the structure can be painted for a personalized touch.
