Constructed with 45mm overlapping, dried-in-a-kiln log walls, this garden log cabin is robust and excellently insulated. The deluxe 19mm tongue and groove base can withstand years of use and is well-suited for storing heavier items. The 19mm tongue and groove rooftop, designed with a reversed apex style, provides more headspace across the log cabin’s width. This rooftop also includes a 23cm extension, reducing sun glare, and is covered in a high-quality, tear-resistant polyester fiber felt that is completely weatherproof and significantly sturdier than traditional mineral felt. Four options are offered for the weatherproof polyester rooftop felt:
– Standard Premium Felt with a 15-year life expectancy
– Premium Felt with Underlay
– Optional Superior Felt upgrade with triple the standard tear-resistance, a remarkable 20-30 year life expectancy, and complimentary underlay
– Felt shingle alternative with underlay, offering a unique aesthetic and a 10-year life expectancy.
It is recommended to opt for one of the options with underlay for added weatherproofing. This garden cabin boasts 21m² of internal floor space (228ft²), providing ample room for furnishings and shelves. Access is granted through twin glass double doors, equipped with double-glazed toughened glass and a key-operated lock for securing stored items and valuable equipment. These doors can be installed on the left or right side of the front facade. Additionally, there are five extra 3/4-length windows, made of double-glazed toughened glass and featuring a tilt and turn mechanism for side or top opening. Three of these windows can be situated on either side of the doors at the front, while the remaining two are situated on the cabin’s flanks. The abundant glazing allows for a delightful amount of natural light in the interior. All wood used in the construction of this log cabin is FSC®-certified, coming exclusively from sustainable, well-managed woodlands. Please note that the garden cabin requires assembly on a solid, level surface such as poured concrete and is supplied untreated, necessitating coating with a solvent-based preservative during assembly. An installation service is available as an optional extra. Delivery is complimentary to most addresses in the UK.
