A Highly Waterproof Log Cabin

The garden cabin, boasting an interior space of 14.2m², is constructed using 44mm Nordic spruce interlocking panels, reinforced with wind braces and styled in a chalet cut design to ensure year-round usability. Both the floor and roof are crafted from premium 19mm tongue & groove, providing excellent durability and weather resistance.

The flooring is supported by treated foundation joists, enhancing airflow and safeguarding against moisture-induced decay. The roof adopts a modern pent shape with a generous overhang but does not come with its standard covering.

Roof Covering Alternatives

Consider purchasing SBS, roof underlay felt, and heavy-duty roofing nails as additional options. SBS is a resilient weatherproof felt with a long lifespan that should be installed by skilled individuals. Roof underlay felt is easy to attach but is recommended only as a temporary covering or as an underlay for the SBS.

Sliding Door Set and Toughened Double Glazing

The fully glazed sliding door set is fitted with 4-16-4mm toughened double glazing, an aluminium frame, and stainless-steel sill for durability. A cylinder lock provides security for valuables stored inside the log cabin.

Construction and Guarantee

Accompanied by a 5-year parts warranty from the manufacturer, this garden edifice includes instructions and a hardware kit for straightforward assembly.

Timber Preservation

Upon delivery, this log cabin is untreated. It is advisable to apply a quality anti-fungal treatment during assembly and annually thereafter to shield the wood from decay and comply with the warranty. For customization, paint can be used on the log cabin.

The timber utilized in constructing this log cabin is FSC® certified, sourced exclusively from sustainable, well-managed forests.
