The wooden shed base comprises a framework constructed from UC4 incised timber that is pressure treated for durability. The pressure treatment ensures the framework’s robustness and resistance to rot for up to 15 years. Base Size: 7.5cm (h) x 118cm (w) x 182.6cm (d) Plastic Shed Base Kit The 6×4 plastic shed base kit is a convenient choice for avoiding the need to lay slabs or concrete when preparing a base for a new shed. Its interlocking design allows for easy assembly and despite its lightweight, it provides a robust and durable foundation for the shed. Made from 100% recycled plastic, this shed base is eco-friendly and can be reused if the shed is moved. The base allows for ventilation and drainage underneath the shed to keep the shed floor dry. To set up the base, simply interlock the square grids and place them on a firm, level ground surface. We recommend using 15kg of 10mm pea gravel per square (gravel not included). Each square measures 500 x 500 x 40mm. The pack includes 12 squares and heavy-duty, commercially-graded weed membrane. Kindly note that we do not assemble plastic shed bases as part of our installation service. The base needs to be prepared in advance of the installation visit.
