The wooden base comprises UC4 incised timber that is pressure-treated for robustness and guaranteed to resist decay for up to 15 years. Base size: 7.5cm (h) x 241.6cm (w) x 354cm (d)       Plastic Base Kit The 12×8 plastic shed base kit is quick and easy to install, ideal for bypassing the inconvenience of laying slabs or concrete for a base. Featuring an interlocking design, it is simple to assemble and, despite being lightweight, offers a robust and durable foundation for the shed. Constructed from 100% recycled plastic, this base is eco-friendly and can be reused if the shed is relocated. It allows for ventilation and drainage under the shed, assisting in keeping the shed floor dry. To install the base, interlock the square grids and lay them on a firm, level ground. We recommend using 15kg of 10mm pea gravel per square (gravel not included). Each square measures 500 x 500 x 40mm. This pack contains 40 squares and heavy-duty, commercially graded weed membrane. Please note that we do not assemble plastic shed bases as part of our installation service. A helpful installation video for this plastic shed base can be found here. You must prepare the base in accordance with the supplied instructions ahead of the installers’ arrival. Placing the base directly on grass is not suitable, and the installers will not be able to assemble your garden building.
