Walls, Base, and Top
The walls are constructed from 7mm overlap cladding to ensure effective rain drainage and allow the timber to naturally adjust throughout the seasons. Different from most other overlap storage buildings, the boards have straight cuts, giving them a much sleeker appearance.
Crafted from 14mm solid timber, the base is 40% thicker than standard storage unit flooring and includes pressure-treated bearers for added protection against ground moisture.
The top is fabricated from 8mm solid sheet, strengthened by a metal truss bracket, and furnished with a premium mineral-felt covering for complete weather resistance. Its apex configuration, sleek-planed barge boards, and appealing finials provide the finishing touches to an exceedingly stylish look.
An Enhanced Security Storage Unit
The double entryways can be arranged in various positions and are outfitted with double-Z framing for additional resilience/to prevent distortion. Concealed security hinges and a hasp & staple plate ensure valuable tools remain secure (padlock not supplied).
The 2 PET-glazed windows allow ample natural light into the storage unit. Crafted from recyclable materials, these shatterproof windows will neither fade nor discolor in the sun. A high roofline provides ample headroom and expands garden storage opportunities.

Wooden Storage Unit Base Kit As an alternative to laying slabs or concrete, this storage unit base offers a quicker, more cost-effective DIY solution. The wooden base comprises UC4 incised timber that has been pressure treated. The pressure treatment guarantees that the base is sturdy and guaranteed to resist decay for an impressive 15 years. Plastic Storage Unit Base Kit Quick and straightforward to set up, the 8×6 plastic storage unit base kit is ideal for avoiding the inconvenience of laying slabs or concrete when preparing a base for a new storage unit. Its interlocking design makes it simple to assemble and, although lightweight, it provides a very resilient and long-lasting base for the storage unit. Constructed from 100% recycled plastic, this base is eco-friendly and can be reused if the storage unit is relocated. The base allows for ventilation and drainage under the storage unit, aiding in keeping the storage unit floor dry. To install the base, simply interlock the square grids and lay onto a firm, level ground. We recommend using 15kg of 10mm pea gravel per square (gravel not included). Each square is 500 x 500 x 40mm. This pack contains 20 squares and heavy-duty, commercially-graded weed membrane. Please note that we do not put together plastic storage unit bases as part of our assembly service. Directly laying the base on grass is not recommended, and our installers will be unable to put together your garden structure.
