Shed Base Options for Sapphire Sheds
All shed bases should be placed on a level surface with a damp proof membrane. It’s recommended to anchor all Sapphire sheds securely to a base or solid surface. Hilti screws can be purchased from the options tab for this purpose. The Sapphire Metal Foundation Kit, designed for Sapphire sheds, is a steel grid that sits on top of the damp proof membrane. The grid can be filled with concrete or covered with suitable plywood (plywood not included). Simple self-assembly instructions come with the kit. If there is an existing concrete or slab base in the desired location, a foundation kit is not necessary. However, it’s advisable to have this base on a damp proof membrane to reduce condensation.
