Shed Base Choices for Azure Sheds
All shed bases should be built on a level surface with a damp proof membrane. Sapphire sheds should be anchored to a base or solid ground. Hilti screws are obtainable in the options section. The Sapphire Metal Foundation Kit, a steel grid placed over the damp proof membrane, can be filled with concrete or covered with suitable plywood (not provided). This kit is specifically designed for Sapphire sheds. Simple self-assembly instructions are included with the kit. If there is an existing concrete or slab base in the desired location, a kit is not necessary. Ideally, the base should be constructed on top of a damp proof membrane to reduce condensation.
