All Bards garden constructions are meticulously produced to the highest standards, and you are provided with the flexibility to customize the structure in various manners to craft your distinct design. This specific edition of the Portia features covered 12mm shiplap tongue and groove panels, which are customizable in your chosen hue. Unlike certain competing suppliers, we supply the garden room fully insulated as standard (floor, walls & roof). Included in our standard packages are the following inclusions:
- Hidden Nailing for a smooth finish without visible nail holes on the cladding.
- UPVC Double Doors (4′ – 123.3 x 200.8cm Width x Height).
- 2 x UPVC Full Length Fixed Casement Windows on the front aspect of the structure. (T15 – 79.5 x 200.8cm Width x Height)
- 1 x UPVC Full Length, Top Opening Casement Window on the side. (T10LEA – 58.5 x 200.8cm Width x Height)
- 9mm vertically grooved and primed MDF board for internal cladding.
- Bardoline classic roof shingles.
- Added 8mm laminated flooring with 3mm underlay in a selection of laminate colors.
We offer a variety of alternative door and window options that can be explored in the accompanying documentation and can be acquired based on a price-on-application basis. The doors are available in Aluminum as well as UPVC. The UPVC doors and windows are available in four unique shades and require minimal upkeep. Please be aware that the interiors of all UPVC selections are White. Our mortise and tennon doors and windows feature premium joinery, complete with draught-proofed sealed units. Our Wall Insulation consists of:
- External Cladding -12mm painted tongue and groove cladding.
- Air Gap – 12mm space between external cladding and external lining.
- External Lining – High-grade breathable membrane.
- Insulation – 50mm Mineral wool insulation.
- Internal Cladding – 9mm vertically grooved and primed MDF board.
Our Floor Insulation comprises:
- 18mm tongue & groove matchboard floor boards.
- Insulation – 40mm Sheet insulation.
- Added 8mm laminated flooring with 3mm underlay.
Our Roof Insulation is composed of:
- Classic Roof Shingles.
- Boarded Roof Frame.
- External Lining – High-grade breathable membrane.
- Insulation – 50mm Mineral wool insulation.
- Internal Cladding – 9mm vertically grooved and primed MDF board.
If electricity is needed in your structure, we recommend having an Electrician (of your choosing) onsite for approximately one hour during installation for initial electrical work, with a return visit once construction is finalized for the final electrical setup. Our services do not cover the supply or installation of any power outlets or light fixtures.
