Discover the Oren 8′ x 6′ Shiplap Pent Bike Shed, providing a safe and high-quality space to store your bikes, gardening tools, or kids’ toys. Built with tongue and groove construction, every Oren shed is made using 12mm thick shiplap wood. Both the floor and the roof are also constructed from 12mm tongue and groove for added strength and durability. The shiplap cladding has a subtle ridge on top of each panel, allowing water to drain efficiently compared to standard tongue and groove panels. This design feature helps the shed dry quickly after rain, protecting it from potential water damage. To prolong its lifespan and prevent rust, all Oren sheds come with galvanized hinges and latches. Galvanizing involves coating with a protective zinc layer to prevent corrosion and decay. Featuring a premium high-performance felt, the shed is reinforced with a specialized ‘polyester’ backed waterproof material that resists tearing and creasing. The felt is treated with a bitumen (asphalt) layer that repels water while maintaining proper airflow.
