The Oren 2′ x 6′ Lapped Ridge Bike Hut offers a safe and superior storage solution for your bicycles and garden equipment or children’s playthings. This functional and remarkably capacious bike hut is an excellent supplement to your backyard if you wish to expand your storage area. Joint and furrow all over The entirety of Oren huts are constructed from 12mm thick lapped ridge joint and furrow wood. Even the base and top are 12mm joint and furrow to provide added toughness and resilience. Lapped ridge cladding has the extra benefit of a slight groove at the apex of each panel. This minor channel allows rainwater to flow off the hut more swiftly than standard joint and furrow. This also facilitates quick drying of the hut following rain exposure, safeguarding it from potential water harm. Zinc-Coated Hardware All Oren huts are furnished with zinc-coated hinges & fasteners to increase longevity and reduce corrosion. Zinc-coating involves applying a defensive zinc layer to shield against rust and other harm. Top-Quality High Performance Felt The hut is furnished with a top-notch water-resistant felt with specific ‘polyester’ support to ensure its longevity and prevent easy rippling or tearing. The felt is impregnated with a protective bitumen (asphalt) coating that repels water while still allowing the material to breathe.
