Tongue and groove design All Oren shelters are constructed from 12mm thick shiplap tongue and groove wood. Even the base and top are crafted using 12mm tongue and groove for added resilience and toughness. Shiplap cladding possesses an added attribute of a minor indentation atop each panel. This slight groove enables water to flow off the shelter more rapidly than typical tongue and groove. It also aids in the swift drying of the shelter after rainfall, safeguarding it from moisture-related harm. Zinc-Plated Hardware All Oren shelters are equipped with zinc-plated hinges & latches, ensuring an extended lifespan and reducing corrosion. Zinc-plating involves coating with a shielding zinc layer to shield against corrosion and other impairment. Top-Quality Performance Roofing Felt The shelter is furnished with superior waterproof roofing felt featuring a distinctive ‘polyester’ backing to ensure longevity and prevent easy wrinkling or tearing. The felt is permeated with bitumen (also known as asphalt), a defensive covering that repels water while still permitting air circulation.
