This shed includes reinforced safety glass as standard, and a Premium High Performance Felt with special polyester backing, ensuring it endures longer and doesn’t wrinkle or rip easily. Even the base and top are 12mm tongue and groove to offer additional strength and endurance. Ship-lap cladding has the additional characteristic of a small profile at the crest of each panel. This slight channel enables water to flow off the shed more rapidly than ordinary tongue and groove. This also aids the shed in drying swiftly after being exposed to rain, helping to safeguard it from any water harm. Strengthened glass Any Oren shed having windows comes with strengthened safety glass as standard. The strengthening procedure enhances the structural robustness and thermal resistance of the glass, thus elevating its resilience and capacity to endure heat. Strengthened glass is 500% more resilient to heat and shock than regular glass. The glass is already internally beaded so you don’t have to set the glass by yourself and PVC sills finish the window units to deter water infiltration and deliver a stunning finish. Galvanized ironmongery All Oren sheds feature galvanized hinges, turn buttons, and door pull so the shed endures longer and reduces oxidation. Galvanization is a covering with a protective stratum of zinc to safeguard it from corrosion and other harm. Premium High Performance Felt The shed is complemented with a high-performing waterproof felt with special ‘polyester’ backing ensuring it endures longer and doesn’t wrinkle or rip easily. The felt is engrossed with a protective coating named bitumen (asphalt), which pushes away water but still lets the product breathe.
