Shield Wood Dye & Defender offers a durable water-resistant solution that is eco-friendly and safeguards various outdoor woods from elements and mildew. Suitable for application on terra cotta, brick, or any absorbent surface. Enduring – 2-5 years (depending on usage + environment) Comes in various hues Area covered: Approximately 8-12m² per layer We suggest applying 2 layers, with a 3rd to enhance color richness. If your primary item is not treated under pressure, a Wood Preservative is necessary before applying the dye, we suggest using Shield Wood Preserver ++. In cases of intense weather exposure, applying Shield Clear Resilient Finish as a final layer is advisable. For pale tones, we propose using our Dye Blocking Undercoat to prevent discoloration from potential tannin seepage.
