Defend Wood Stain & Shield serves as a durable repellent against water, is environmentally friendly towards plants and pets, and guards all varieties of outdoor wood from the elements and fungus. Suitable for use on clayware, stone, or any absorbent material. Enduring – lasts 2-5 years (depending on usage and exposure levels) Comes in a range of hues Area coverage: Approximately 8-12m² per layer We suggest applying 2 layers, with a possible third to enhance color richness. If your primary item is not pressure-treated, you must first treat it with a Wood Preserver; we recommend Protek Wood Preserver ++. In cases of intense weather conditions, applying Protek Clear Tough Coat as a finishing layer is advisable. To prevent discoloration due to potential tannin seepage, it is advised to use our Stain Blocking Primer before applying a top coat for light shades.
