Tongue and groove throughout
All Oren sheds are crafted from 12mm thick ship-lap tongue and groove timber. The 12mm tongue and groove flooring and roofing offer additional strength and resilience. Ship-lap cladding boasts a unique feature of a small profile atop each board. This characteristic facilitates quicker water runoff and faster drying after rainfall, thereby safeguarding the shed from potential water-related issues.
Toughened glass
Any Oren shed featuring windows is outfitted with toughened safety glass as a standard inclusion. The toughening process fortifies the glass structurally and thermally, enhancing its durability and heat resistance. Toughened glass exhibits a 500% higher resistance to heat and impact compared to regular glass. The glass is already internally beaded, eliminating the need for self-fitting and PVC sills complete the window units, preventing water ingress and providing an exquisite appearance.
Galvanized ironmongery
All Oren sheds are furnished with galvanized hinges, turn buttons, and door pulls to extend the shed’s lifespan and minimize corrosion. Galvanization involves applying a protective zinc layer to shield it from rust and other forms of deterioration.
Premium High Performance Felt
The shed features high-quality waterproof felt with a special ‘polyester’ backing, ensuring extended longevity and resistance to tearing. The felt is impregnated with a bitumen (asphalt) protective coating, repelling water while still allowing adequate ventilation.
