Wood Stain & Defender is a durable barrier treatment that repels water for an extended period. It is eco-friendly and safe for plants and animals, safeguarding all varieties of outdoor wood from the elements and fungus. This solution can be administered to clay and stonework or any permeable material. Long-lasting performance – between 2 to 5 years (depending on usage and exposure levels). Comes in multiple hues. Area coverage: Around 8-12m² per layer Our suggestion is to apply two coats, with a third one for intensifying the color richness. If your primary item hasn’t been pressure treated, you must first use a Wood Preservative before painting; we recommend the Protek Wood Preserver ++. In cases of harsh weather conditions, it is advised to apply the Protek Clear Durable Coating as a finishing layer. When using light shades, we advise utilizing our Stain Repelling Base to prevent potential discoloration caused by tannin seepage.
