Tongue and groove construction
All Oren sheds are built using 12mm thick shiplap tongue and groove timber, extending to both the floor and roof to provide enhanced strength and longevity. The shiplap cladding includes a slight profile at the top of each board, facilitating quicker water runoff and faster drying after rainfall, thus safeguarding the shed against water damage.
Toughened glass
For sheds with windows, toughened safety glass is supplied as standard. The toughening process enhances the structural integrity and thermal resistance of the glass, boosting its durability and ability to withstand heat. Toughened glass is exceptionally resistant to heat and impact, outperforming ordinary glass by 500%. Additionally, the glass comes internally beaded, saving you the hassle of fitting it yourself, while the PVC sills on the window units prevent water ingress, providing a polished look.
Galvanised ironmongery
All Oren sheds are equipped with galvanised hinges, turn buttons, and door pulls, ensuring prolonged lifespan and minimizing oxidation. Galvanization involves applying a protective zinc coating to shield against rust and other forms of damage.
Premium High Performance Felt
Completing the shed is a high-quality waterproof felt featuring a specialized ‘polyester’ backing that enhances its durability, preventing rips and wrinkles. The felt is impregnated with a protective bitumen (asphalt) coating, enabling it to repel water while allowing the product to breathe, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
