uPVC Doors and Windows – The Oren Log Cabin is equipped with uPVC Double Doors in Anthracite Grey and uPVC ‘Tilt and Turn’ Opening Windows, all featuring toughened and double glazed glass for added durability. High Security – In addition to the toughened double glazing, all doors and windows are fortified with a 5-point locking system, offering peace of mind whether the cabin is used for storage or as a home office.
Roofing Covering – The roof of this log cabin is designed to withstand various weather conditions with a 50-year life expectancy. It utilizes an innovative EPDM rubber roofing system, complete with a gutter edge drip plate to efficiently channel rainwater away from the cabin’s sides.
Under 2.5m – All cabins are under 2.5m to the ridge, circumventing most planning permission limitations associated with residential constructions. The robust roof features extra deep 145mm roof purlins to ensure strength and stability, without compromising on height.
High Grade Timber – Crafted from high quality, responsibly sourced Scandinavian Timber, the 44mm thick walls of this log cabin provide superior durability. Inferior timber profiles like lower quality 19mm and 28mm log cabins, or those constructed with OSB or chipboard floors and roofs, are not used. Tongue & groove boards comprise the floors and roofs, ensuring robustness, while timber bearers elevate the cabin off the ground for further protection.
Contemporary Touches – Elegant external sills on all windows and ‘easy access’ aluminium low threshold sills on the doors enhance both functionality and aesthetics. Attention to detail is evident in the Burford style skirting, which offers a polished finish to the interior of the cabin.
