Equipped with a smart built-in drainage system, there’s no need to manually open the louvred roof for water drainage. Rainwater accumulated on the louvers is directed into U-shaped channels. This water then flows through the roof channels and into the pergola’s framework channels. Subsequently, the rainwater finds its way into the hollow pergola legs, where it cascades down vertically to the ground. This ingenious system ensures a discreet water flow, eliminating the sight of water runoff from the pergola. Moreover, the U-shaped channels prevent rainwater from dripping into the sheltered area if the louvres are opened when wet.
Assembly is required for this pergola, with a recommended team of 2-3 people for safe lifting and assembly, taking approximately 2 hours. To secure the pergola to the ground, expansion bolts are provided. It’s advised to mount the pergola on a solid, flat surface such as concrete bases, ensuring that all legs are firmly bolted to the floor using the holes in each leg’s base plate.
