Wooden Shack Base Kit
As an alternative to laying slabs or concrete, this shack base is a prompt, more cost-effective DIY solution. The wooden shack base comprises a framework crafted from UC4 incised timber, which is pressure treated. The pressure treatment ensures the framework’s durability and guarantees resistance to decay for an impressive 15 years.

Plastic Shack Base Kit
Straightforward to install, the 10×10 plastic shack base kit is ideal for evading the complexities of laying slabs or concrete when preparing a base for a new shack. Its interlocking design simplifies assembly, and despite being lightweight, it furnishes a very robust and enduring base for the shack. Manufactured from 100% recycled plastic, this shack base is environmentally friendly. Moreover, it can be reused if the shack is repositioned. The base facilitates ventilation and drainage beneath the shack, aiding in keeping the shack floor dry.
For base installation, simply interlock the square grids and place them on a solid, level ground surface. We propose using 15kg of 10mm pea gravel per square (gravel not provided). Each square measures 500 x 500 x 40mm. This pack incorporates 42 grids and heavy-duty weed membrane.
Please be informed that we do not assemble plastic shack bases as part of our installation service. A helpful tutorial on installing this plastic shack base can be accessed here. You must prepare the base yourself, following the supplied guidelines, prior to the installers’ arrival. Placing the base directly on grass is unsuitable, and the installers will be unable to construct your garden building.
