Structure Construction
The walls are constructed from 7mm overlap cladding, enabling efficient rain drainage while allowing natural movement of the timber throughout the seasons. In contrast to typical overlap structures, the boards feature straight cuts for a more elegant appearance.
The 14mm solid wood floor is 40% thicker than standard shed flooring and comes with pressure-treated bearers for additional protection against ground moisture. The roof, made of 8mm solid sheet and reinforced with a metal truss bracket, is covered with premium mineral felt for complete weather resistance. The reverse apex design, smooth-planed barge boards, and decorative finials provide a stylish finishing touch to the building’s appearance.

The double entrance doors are equipped with double-Z framing for added strength to prevent warping. Hidden security hinges and a hasp & staple plate ensure the protection of valuable equipment (padlock not included). The windowless feature adds further security by deterring unwanted attention. Wooden Shed Base Kit
As an alternative to laying slabs or concrete, this shed base offers a quicker, more cost-effective DIY solution. The base framework, constructed from UC4 tanalised timber, is pressure treated for durability and guaranteed to resist rot for 15 years. Base dimensions: 7.5cm (h) x 241.6cm (w) x 354cm (d).
Plastic Shed Base Kit
The 12×8 plastic shed base kit provides a simple and rapid installation method, ideal for avoiding the hassle of laying slabs or concrete. Featuring an interlocking design, this lightweight yet sturdy base is made from 100% recycled plastic, making it eco-friendly. The base allows for ventilation and drainage beneath the shed, aiding in maintaining a dry shed floor. Each square is 500 x 500 x 40mm; the pack contains 40 squares and heavy-duty, commercially-graded weed membrane. Gravel is recommended for installation (not included). Note that the plastic shed base is not assembled as part of the installation service and must be prepared in advance.
