The floor is designed to withstand regular foot traffic and heavier stored items, supplemented by pressure-treated bearers that offer additional support and protection against ground moisture. The inverted apex roof design makes it perfect for using the shed as a garden workshop, featuring a premium 140g reinforced-polyester mineral felt cover for unbeatable weatherproofing (color of felt may vary). Wooden Shed Foundation Kit:
An efficient DIY solution, this shed base constructed from pressure-treated UC4 incised timber is a quicker and more cost-effective alternative to laying concrete or slabs. The robust framework, guaranteed to resist rot for an impressive 15 years, provides a durable base for the shed. It measures 7.5cm (h) x 241.6cm (w) x 354cm (d).
Plastic Shed Foundation Kit:
The 12×8 plastic shed base kit offers a straightforward installation process, ideal for avoiding the complexities of laying concrete or slabs. Made from 100% recycled plastic, the interlocking design creates a strong and durable base for the shed, allowing for ventilation and drainage underneath to keep the shed floor dry. Each square is 500 x 500 x 40mm, and the pack includes 40 squares and heavy-duty weed membrane. Please note that assembly of plastic shed bases is not included in the installation service. Prior to the installers’ visit, you must prepare the base on your own.
