Shield Wood Color & Guard is a durable water-resistant solution that is safe for plants & animals and shields all kinds of outdoor timber from the elements and fungus. It can be administered on terracotta and stone surfaces or any material with pores. Enduring – 2-5 years (depending on usage & weather conditions) Comes in various shades Area coverage: Approximately 8-12m² per layer We suggest applying 2 layers with an optional 3rd layer for richer color. If your primary item is not pressure-treated, it’s advisable to apply a Wood Preservative before painting, we recommend Shield Wood Preservative++. For extensive exposure to harsh weather, we advise using Shield Clear Tough Finish as an overcoat. For lighter hues, we recommend utilizing our Dye Blocking Base to prevent potential color bleeding in the topcoat.
