Walls, Base, and Roof

Timber Outbuilding Base Kit – As an alternative to laying slabs or concrete, this outbuilding base is a speedier, more cost-efficient DIY resolution. The timber outbuilding base comprises a framework created from UC4 incised timber, which has been pressure treated. The pressure treatment confirms that the framework is durable and is guaranteed to withstand rot for an impressive 15 years. Size of base: 7.5cm (h) x 236cm (w) x 182.6cm (d)
Plastic Outbuilding Base Kit – Quick and simple to install, the 8×6 plastic outbuilding base kit is ideal for sidestepping the inconvenience of laying slabs or concrete when preparing a base for a new outbuilding. Its interlocking design makes assembly a breeze, and despite its lightness, it provides a very robust and enduring base for the outbuilding. Crafted from 100% recycled plastic, this outbuilding base is environmentally friendly. Furthermore, it can be reused if the outbuilding is relocated. The base permits ventilation and drainage beneath the outbuilding, aiding in keeping the outbuilding floor dry. To install the base, merely interlock the square grids and lay them on a firm, level ground. We suggest using 15kg of 10mm pea gravel per square (gravel not supplied). Each square is 500 x 500 x 40mm. This pack comprises 20 squares and heavy-duty, commercially-graded weed membrane. Please note that we do not assemble plastic outbuilding bases as part of our installation service. A helpful video demonstrating how to install this plastic outbuilding base can be found here. You must prepare the base accordingly, following the provided instructions, before the installers’ visit. Placing the base directly on grass won’t be suitable, and the installers won’t be able to assemble your garden building.
