As an alternative to traditional slabs or concrete, this shed base is a quicker, more cost-effective DIY solution. The base comprises a framework crafted from UC4 incised timber that is pressure treated for long-term durability and rot resistance. The base dimensions are 7.5cm (h) x 182.6cm (w) x 295cm (d).
Plastic Shed Base Kit
The 10×6 plastic shed base kit offers a convenient solution for preparing a shed base without the need for slabs or concrete. Its interlocking design allows for simple assembly, providing a strong and durable foundation for the shed while being eco-friendly due to its 100% recycled plastic composition. This base facilitates ventilation and drainage under the shed, aiding in keeping the shed floor dry. Installation involves interlocking the square grids and placing them on a firm, level surface. It is recommended to use 15kg of 10mm pea gravel per square during installation (gravel not included). Each square measures 500 x 500 x 40mm, and the pack includes 24 squares and heavy-duty, commercially graded weed membrane. Please note that we do not assemble plastic shed bases as part of the installation service.
