As an alternative to laying slabs or concrete, this shed base offers a quicker and more cost-effective DIY solution.
The wooden shed base comprises a framework fabricated from UC4 incised timber that has been pressure treated for durability. The pressure treatment ensures the framework’s robustness, guaranteeing resistance to rot for an impressive 15 years.

Plastic Shed Base Kit
This 10×6 plastic shed base kit is quick and straightforward to install, eliminating the hassle of laying slabs or concrete when preparing for a new shed. The interlocking design simplifies assembly, providing a strong and durable base for the shed, despite its lightweight build.
Crafted from 100% recycled plastic, this eco-friendly shed base can be reused if the shed is relocated. It facilitates ventilation and drainage beneath the shed, assisting in keeping the shed floor dry.
To install the base, simply interlock the square grids and lay them on a firm, level ground. We recommend using 15kg of 10mm pea gravel per square (gravel not included). Each square measures 500 x 500 x 40mm. This pack includes 24 squares and heavy-duty, commercially graded weed membrane.
Please note that we do not assemble plastic shed bases as part of our installation service. It is essential to prepare the base in advance of the installers’ visit.
