An efficient alternative to laying slabs or concrete, this shed base offers a quicker, more cost-effective DIY solution. Crafted from UC4 incised timber that is pressure treated, guaranteeing robustness and resistance to rot for up to 15 years. Base dimensions: 7.5cm (h) x 182.6cm (w) x 295cm (d)
Plastic Shed Base Kit:
Simple to install, this 10×6 plastic shed base kit is perfect for avoiding the complexities of laying slabs or concrete when preparing a shed base. Featuring an interlocking design for easy assembly, this lightweight base is exceptionally robust and durable, made from 100% recycled plastic. It allows for ventilation and drainage underneath the shed, keeping the shed floor dry. Each square is 500 x 500 x 40mm, with 24 squares included in the pack and heavy-duty weed membrane provided. Installation requires interlocking the grids on a firm, level surface and adding 15kg of 10mm pea gravel per square (gravel not included). Note that plastic shed bases are not assembled as part of the installation service – the base preparation is the responsibility of the customer prior to the installation visit.
