The wooden shed base comprises a framework made from UC4 incised timber that is pressure treated. The treatment guarantees the framework’s robustness and its resistance to rot for an impressive 15 years. Base dimensions: 7.5cm (h) x 236cm (w) x 182.6cm (d) Plastic Shed Base Kit Installation of the 8×6 plastic shed base kit is a swift and straightforward process, ideal for avoiding the complications of laying slabs or concrete when preparing a base for a new shed. The interlocking design makes assembly easy, and despite its lightweight nature, it provides a highly robust and durable foundation for the shed. Constructed from 100% recycled plastic, this eco-friendly shed base can be reused if the shed is relocated. It facilitates ventilation and drainage beneath the shed, promoting a dry shed floor. To install the base, simply interlock the square grids and position on a firm, level ground. We recommend using 15kg of 10mm pea gravel per square (gravel not included). Each square measures 500 x 500 x 40mm. This package contains 20 squares with heavy-duty, commercial-grade weed membrane. Please note that we do not assemble plastic shed bases as part of our installation service. You are responsible for preparing the base in advance of the installers’ arrival.
