Toughened Glass
For sheds with windows, all Oren models are provided with toughened safety glass. The toughening process enhances the glass’s structural strength and thermal durability, making it more resilient and able to withstand high temperatures. Toughened glass is 500% more resistant to heat and impact compared to standard glass. The glass is pre-installed internally, saving you the trouble of fitting it yourself. Additionally, PVC sills are included to prevent water seepage and add a polished touch to the window units.
Galvanised Ironmongery
Every Oren shed is furnished with galvanised hinges, turn buttons, and door pulls to enhance longevity and reduce oxidation. Galvanisation involves applying a layer of zinc for protective purposes, shielding the metal against rust and other forms of damage.
Premium High Performance Felt
Completing the shed is a high-quality waterproof felt featuring a specialized ‘polyester’ backing, ensuring prolonged durability and resistance to tearing or rippling. This felt is impregnated with bitumen (asphalt), forming a protective barrier that repels water while still allowing the material to breathe.
