The Oren summer House features resilient framing with corner bracing on all wall panels. It is equipped with toughened safety glass as a standard feature, along with Premium High Performance Felt that has a special polyester backing for extended durability without easily tearing or wrinkling.
Tongue and groove construction is employed throughout all Oren Summer Houses, including the 12mm thick shiplap tongue and groove timber used for the floor and roof, providing additional strength and durability. The shiplap cladding includes a small profile at the top of each board which aids in quicker water runoff and drying post-rain exposure, safeguarding the structure from water-related harm.
Any Oren Summer House featuring windows includes toughened safety glass by default, a type of glass that is significantly more resistant to heat and shock compared to standard glass. The galvanised ironmongery components provided with all Oren Summer Houses – such as hinges, turn buttons, and door pulls – are corrosion-resistant and long-lasting due to the galvanising process, which adds a protective zinc coating.
The Summer House is furnished with premium waterproof felt that has a specialized ‘polyester’ backing to ensure prolonged durability without easily tearing or wrinkling. This felt is impregnated with a protective bitumen coating that repels water while allowing the product to breathe.
