The Oren 12′ x 8′ Tally Studio Log Cottage – 28mm is a premium, versatile, and spacious contemporary garden structure ideal for an outdoor workout area, additional lodging, or workspace. This studio presents cutting-edge design features, with handcrafted timber twin doors and windows that allow natural light to illuminate the space. The windows are fitted with strong double-glazed glass for extra insulation and security.

Craftsman-Made Entryways and Windows – Our Oren Log Cottage comes with artisan-crafted Double Doors and Windows. All glass is not only rugged but also double-glazed for enhanced durability. Ultimate Protection – In addition to the sturdy double glazing, each door and window is secured with a 3 lever mortice lock. Whether you plan to use the log cottage for storing items or as a home office, this extra level of security will provide you with added peace of mind.

Long-lasting Roof Covering – With a lifespan of 50 years, the roof of this log cottage is designed to shield the structure from various weather conditions. It boasts an innovative EPDM rubber roofing system with a 50-year guarantee. This includes a gutter edge drip plate that helps direct rainwater away from the edges of the log cottage. Under 2.5m – All cottages have a height under 2.5m to the ridge, allowing you to bypass most planning permission restrictions that may affect residential constructions. The added deep 145mm roof purlins ensure that the strength and stability are maintained despite the lower height.

Premium Grade Timber – The walls of the log cottage are constructed with 28mm thick high-quality Scandinavian Timber, sourced ethically. No subpar timber profiles, such as inferior 19mm and 22mm thick log cottages or structures made with OSB or chipboard flooring and roofs, are used. The flooring and roofs are made of tongue & groove boards for durability. Timber bearers are provided to elevate the log cottage off the ground for additional floor protection.

Contemporary Elements – Stylish features like external sills on all windows and ‘easy access’ aluminum low threshold sills on the doors enhance both the functionality and visual appeal of your structure. Attention to detail is also evident in the Burford style skirting, providing a polished finish to the interior of the log cottage.

Innovative Self-Assembly – Our 28mm, high-grade interlocking logs are complemented by our innovative notching system, making it easy to confidently assemble your cabin with everything fitting securely in place. Fasteners and instructions are included for a DIY construction process, with additional phone/email support and instructional installation videos available if needed.

Sustainable Practices – We give back! Timber is responsibly sourced from carefully selected suppliers and forests through a thorough evaluation process. Only timber suppliers with Certified Sustainable and Chain of Custody certification, which traces the wood from forest to us, are chosen, and they undergo regular assessments.
