Full Tongue and Groove Construction

Maintaining consistency, all Oren sheds are constructed from 12mm solid shiplap tongue and groove timber. The 12mm tongue and groove flooring and roofing enhance the overall robustness and longevity of the shed. Shiplap cladding features a slight groove on each board’s top, facilitating quicker water runoff compared to standard tongue and groove boards. This design element allows the shed to dry rapidly after rainfall, safeguarding it against water-related damage.

Durable Tempered Glass

Any Oren shed with windows is furnished with tempered safety glass as standard. The tempering process enhances the glass’s structural durability and thermal resistance, improving its resilience and ability to withstand heat. Tempered glass is 500% more resistant to heat and shock than regular glass. The glass comes pre-fitted internally, alleviating the need for self-installation, and PVC sills on the window units prevent water seepage while providing a polished appearance.

Protective Galvanized Hardware

Each Oren shed is supplied with galvanized hinges, turn buttons, and door pulls to extend the shed’s lifespan and reduce oxidation. Galvanization involves coating the hardware with a layer of zinc to shield it from rust and other forms of damage.

Premium Long-Lasting Felt

Complementing the shed is a high-grade waterproof felt with a specialized ‘polyester’ backing, ensuring prolonged durability and resistance to tearing and rippling. The felt is impregnated with a bitumen (asphalt) protective coating that repels water while allowing the shed to breathe.
