The Palmako Iris 44mm Timber Cottage, measuring 17×13 meters, is a generous modern log structure perfect for a garden workspace, a domestic workout area, or a summertime retreat for relaxation and hosting guests. Crafted from connecting 44mm Nordic spruce logs with a chalet-cut finish, this log structure boasts a sleek design. The chalet-cut layout allows for a more secure interlocking construction, improving defense against wind and rain. Additional wind braces contribute to the steadfastness of this high-quality log structure.
Both the floor and roof are made of 19mm tongue and groove panels. Known for its resilience to weather, durability, and strength, tongue and groove construction is utilized in both roof and floor. To ensure longevity, the floor is also bolstered by pressure treated foundation supports. These features create a robust and durable framework designed for extended use.
Featuring a full glaze, the dual entry doors come equipped with safety glass and a laminated door frame for durability against temperature variations. A key-operated cylinder lock provides security, while a stainless steel door sill guard shields the entrance from heavy usage. The 17×13 log structure benefits from three generously sized windows for natural light and ventilation. Double-glazed with real glass, the windows and doors are sealed with rubber to enhance insulation and prevent drafts.
This garden cabin comes untreated with a five-year warranty. To maintain the warranty, we recommend applying an anti-fungal treatment during installation and annually thereafter. For a unique appearance, painting is also an option. Please note that the roof covering is not included. Optional extras include SBS, Charcoal Felt Shingles, or Roof Underlay Felt.
