Shed Base Options
Wooden Shed Base Kit
An expedited, cost-effective DIY solution, this shed base offers a reliable alternative to laying concrete or slabs. Crafted from UC4 incised timber and pressure-treated for durability, the framework ensures a rot-resistant base for up to 15 years. Base size: 7.5cm (h) x 212.1cm (w) x 147.1cm (d).
Plastic Shed Base Kit
Quick and simple to install, the 7×5 plastic shed base kit is ideal for avoiding the hassle of laying slabs or concrete when preparing a base for a new shed. Constructed from 100% recycled plastic, this interlocking base provides a robust and sustainable foundation. It facilitates ventilation and drainage beneath the shed, maintaining a dry shed floor. Each square is 500 x 500 x 40mm, with this pack containing 15 squares and heavy-duty weed membrane. Installation requires interlocking the square grids onto a firm, level surface, ideally accompanied by 15kg of 10mm pea gravel per square (gravel not included). Note that we do not assemble plastic shed bases as part of our installation service; preparation instructions must be followed before the installers’ arrival to ensure a smooth assembly. Directly laying the base on grass is not recommended for building assembly.
