Wood Stain & Guard is a durable water-resistant formula that is safe for plants and pets, shielding all kinds of outdoor wood from the elements and fungus. This solution can be administered on materials like terracotta, masonry, or any absorbent surface. This product has a prolonged lifespan of 2-5 years (depending on usage and exposure) and it comes in various shades. Coverage: Approximately 8-12m² per application. It is recommended to apply two coats initially, with the option of adding a third for deeper coloration. If your primary wood is not pressure-treated, it is advisable to use a Wood Preservative before painting; we suggest the Protek Wood Preserver ++. In instances of heavy weather conditions, applying the Protek Clear Tough Coat as a finishing layer is highly beneficial. To maintain the integrity of light hues, we suggest using our Stain Inhibiting Primer to prevent discoloration from potential tannin seepage.
