Shed Base Options for Sapphire Sheds
For proper installation, all shed bases must be constructed on a level surface with a damp-proof membrane. It is essential to anchor all Sapphire sheds to a base or solid foundation. Hilti screws are available for purchase in the options tab. The Sapphire Metal Foundation Kit, compatible with Sapphire sheds, is a steel grid that sits on top of the damp-proof membrane and can be filled with concrete or covered with suitable plywood (plywood not included). The kit includes simple self-assembly instructions.
If you already have an existing concrete or slab base in the desired location, a foundation kit is unnecessary. However, it is recommended that the base be constructed on top of a damp-proof membrane to reduce condensation.
