Shed Foundation Alternatives for Sapphire Sheds
It is recommended to build shed bases on a level surface with a damp proof membrane. Anchoring all Sapphire sheds to a base or solid ground is essential. Hilti screws can be purchased separately under the options tab. The Sapphire Metal Foundation Kit is a steel grid that sits on top of the damp proof membrane. Fill the grid with concrete or cover it with suitable plywood (plywood not included). This kit, tailored for Sapphire sheds, includes assembly instructions for easy self-setup. If there is an existing concrete or slab base in place, a kit may not be necessary. However, it is advisable that this base was built on top of a damp proof membrane to reduce condensation.
