The Montford Log Cabin belongs to the Shire Log Cabin series. Measuring around 10′ x 10′, this appealing log cabin provides excellent and secure garden storage or a delightful spot to relax away from the commotion of daily life. Crafted from natural high-quality Pine, the sturdy ‘logs’ forming the walls are 28mm thick (more than an inch), which is double the thickness of a typical wooden garden shed. This particular model boasts a generous eaves height of 2.00m (6’7).
Constructed with 16mm tongue and groove boarding for the roof and floor, the Montford also includes floor supports made of pressure treated timber, ensuring longevity for the most exposed area of any timber structure. The single offset door stands at 1.74m (5’8) tall and 0.85m (2’9) wide. Both the window and door feature draft seals typically found in more upscale models, in addition to reliable locks and hinges. The glazing consists of 3mm Horticultural glass. The front roof extends around 0.40m (1’3) and includes roofing felt in the package (with an option to upgrade to felt tiles).
For this model, a professional assembly service is available, provided the customer supplies a flat, level, and square concrete or paved base. The log cabin is delivered in loose component true-log form on a pallet by National Carriers, and only front driveway delivery is available. Please note that the log cabin is untreated upon delivery and it is the customer’s responsibility to treat the external timber surfaces with a high-quality preservative immediately after installation.
