The cable from the solar panel connects to the water-resistant battery box housing an 85Ah sealed deep cycle battery and a charge controller. Another cable links the battery output to the inverter inside the building. The inverter features a UK 3-pin socket for attaching a multi-socket extension cable (not included) to power multiple devices simultaneously. Moreover, a 12v outlet in the battery box enables direct operation of 12v appliances. This 80W kit yields up to 400 watt-hours daily. Component list:
