Concerning the roof felt, there are 3 choices: Premium Felt with a 15-year expectancy, Premium Felt with Underlay, or the optional Superior Felt with a remarkable 20-30 year guarantee PLUS free underlay. Opting for underlay would provide extra weatherproofing benefits.
Do consider upgrading to an option that includes underlay for enhanced weather protection. Do note that the double glazed variant of the Melbury comes with premium felt AND underlay as standard. An alternative double glazed Melbury model is available for improved sound and heat insulation. All timber utilized in constructing this cabin is FSC®-certified, ensuring sustainability. It’s essential to assemble the garden cabin on a sturdy, even surface like poured concrete and apply a solvent-based preservative upon setup since it’s delivered untreated.
