The tongue and groove design throughout the structure, including the 12mm floor and roof, adds extra robustness.
The shiplap cladding incorporates a unique feature – a small channel on the top of each board that facilitates quicker water runoff compared to traditional tongue and groove designs. This feature accelerates the drying process post-rain exposure, safeguarding the structure from potential water damage.
For enhanced durability and thermal strength, all windows in the Oren Summer House are equipped with toughened safety glass, offering superior resistance to heat and impact compared to standard glass. The internal beading of the glass eliminates the need for manual fitting, while PVC sills prevent water ingress and provide a polished finish.
Equipped with galvanised ironmongery including hinges, turn buttons, and door pulls, the Oren Summer House boasts prolonged longevity by minimizing oxidization, thanks to the protective zinc layer on the ironmongery components.
Completing the structure is the Premium High Performance Felt, featuring a waterproof design with a ‘polyester’ backing that ensures longevity and resistance to tearing and rippling. The felt’s bitumen (asphalt) coating repels water while allowing the product to breathe, further enhancing its protective properties.
