The flooring and roofing are also crafted from 12mm tongue and groove material for added robustness and endurance. Shiplap cladding includes a subtle ridge at the top of each panel. This minor trough assists in quicker water drainage off the barn compared to standard tongue and groove paneling. Moreover, it facilitates swift drying post rainfall exposure, offering protection against water-related harm. Galvanized hardware All Oren barns feature galvanized pivot points & locking mechanisms to enhance durability and minimize corrosion. The galvanization process entails applying a layer of zinc for shielding against rust and other detrimental effects. Premium Top-Notch Felt The barn boasts high-performance waterproof felt equipped with specialized ‘polyester’ underlay to prolong its lifespan and resist tearing and warping. The felt is impregnated with bitumen (asphalt) for waterproofing while simultaneously enabling breathability.
