All Oren shelters are meticulously constructed from durable 12mm shiplap tongue and groove timber. The flooring and roofing are both made of 12mm tongue and groove panels to ensure enhanced strength and durability. The shiplap cladding features a slight groove at the top of each board, allowing rainwater to drain efficiently from the shelter. This characteristic also promotes quick drying post-rain, keeping the structure safe from potential water damage. Each Oren shelter comes equipped with sturdy galvanised metal fixtures such as hinges and locks to extend their lifespan and minimize rusting. Galvanisation entails the application of a protective zinc layer to prevent corrosion and rust formation. To complete the shelter, premium waterproof felt with a specialized ‘polyester’ backing is used to ensure extended durability without the risk of wrinkling or tearing. This felt is infused with bitumen (asphalt) for water resistance while promoting proper air circulation.
