Constructed from 44mm Nordic spruce logs with a chalet-cut finish, the interlocking build offers enhanced protection against wind and rain. Stability is reinforced by wind braces incorporated into this premium log cabin design.
Both the floor and roof are crafted from 19mm tongue and groove wood, known for its durability, weather resistance, and strength. Pressure treated floor joists support the floor, ensuring longevity. A protective and appealing overhang graces the roof. The garden cabin features a single half-glazed side entrance door, fully-glazed French doors with safety glass, and flanking full-length windows. An opening side window complements the ample glazing. All windows and doors are double-glazed with genuine glass and rubber seals to enhance insulation and eliminate drafts. The laminated door frame construction resists warping and cracking caused by temperature fluctuations. Key-operated cylinder locks offer security, while stainless steel door sills protect the high-traffic door area.
This garden cabin is provided untreated with a five-year warranty. It is recommended to apply an anti-fungal treatment during assembly and annually thereafter to ensure the warranty’s support. Optionally, paint can be applied for a customized look. Note that the roof does not come with a covering. SBS, Charcoal Felt Shingles, or Roof Underlay Felt are available for purchase as additional options. SBS is a durable weatherproof felt, while Charcoal Felt Roof Shingles are easy to install and long-lasting. Roof Underlay Felt, simple to attach, is ideal as a temporary roof cover or underlay for a permanent upgrade.
