For those seeking enhanced durability, an upgrade to pressure-treated timber is recommended, extending the anti-rot guarantee to an impressive 15 years. Furthermore, with this upgrade, the cladding thickness will be increased to 15mm at no extra cost. It is essential to note that even pressure-treated timber will need waterproofing post-assembly and annually thereafter.
Optional enhancements such as bookcase shelving, a double-door cupboard, security cupboard, and top racking with shelving are available, all crafted from premium timber. Please be advised that only one of these shed furniture items can be selected. The bookcase shelving snugly fits into the garden building’s rear gable. The door cupboard comes with 3 galvanised hinges for each door, a mortice lock, an internal dividing shelf, and a work surface. The security cupboard also includes 3 galvanised hinges and mortice locks, along with 3 shelves and sufficient space for taller items, easily securable to the garden building’s floor.
